看完第五季之后看第八季，没想到是大结局。但这个仅有10集的最终季相当用心，几乎每一集都在为告别做铺垫，有矛盾的一一和解，有遗憾的一一补全，99警局的每个警探都开启了人生新篇章，前面9季出现的众多配角轮番登场亮相告别，有如《老友记重聚特辑》。同时，神烦警探隔三差五紧贴时事并加以探讨，包括黑命贵等，实属不易。另外，饰演警长老公的虽是小众老演员Marc Evan Jason，十季以来年纪越大秃头越明显，正脸却越来越有李察基尔那种迷人的魅力。

制作感觉更精良了，故事主线更清晰，这次杰洛特和希里的双人戏份也更好看，不过相对的基本没啥支线，几场打戏还不错但没了第一季第一集那种惊艳，多了不少慢动作。这季对叶这个角色有了更多的刻画，不过据说原著里没有本季里叶的剧情，最后希里给凯尔莫汉带来的影响貌似书里也没有，这种改动我不太喜欢，毕竟凯尔莫汉对于希里来说是第二个家。

Originally, I wanted to give five stars, for this movie is a rarity in Hong Kong gang movies which narrates the fighting story of a boss. The transformation from an innocent and righteous youngster to a slick and cruel sergeant is impressing. But the flaws of this movie is obivious——Lau is too young to act as a boss. He is more suited to the character of young police who is handsome and vigorous. Besides, the ending of this movie is so sloppy that it only provides some clips of the sequel. It would have been better if it ended up with Leiluo's becoming the general sergeant of Hong Kong.
